6/1/2017 #tbt: Paris, 2011In 2011, my dear friend Dana and I travelled to the magnificent city of Paris. After arriving late in the evening the car took us to the hotel, passing by the lit up Eiffel Tower on the way! I still remember my iPod playing U2 as I gazed in amazement and the Eiffel. Dana and I woke up early to explore the very next morning. We visited the Louvre, Sacre Coeur, the Palace of Versailles, and more. The city made me feel a sense of adventure and liveliness. The structures had beauty and elegance. The Palace of Versailles and its gardens were breathtaking! I enjoyed walking and taking it all in. I would recommend this visit for anyone visiting the area. It was just a train ride away!
From shopping to history, brunch to museums, Paris has it all! Below are some more photos of the trip! 5/30/2017 Mini Recap: TampaSharing a couple images from a quick holiday weekend getaway to Tampa! This trip was filled with sun, laughter, and mimosas of course! The most memorable being a Memorial Day 5k walk to benefit Carry the Load. We also visited Clearwater beach and enjoyed some fun in the sun as well! -TS
5/24/2017 Rome: #tbtAnother week has come and gone and so it's time for my next throwback Thursday post! The focus of this week's post is my throwback to Rome 2011! My dear friend Michael and I visited Rome in May. The weather was perfect and the sun was hot enough to catch a slight burn. One of our memorable stops was the Colosseum, a definite must. Of course, this attraction is renowned! We took the tour and spent a few hours taking in all there was, and buying souvenirs too. The Trevi Fountain was a sight to remember as well. We threw our coins in the fountain and took selfies, of course! The pizza was as you'd expect- phenomenal and a foodies dream. The gelato was refreshing and rich. Definitely a trip for content bellies and and pictures galore! Check out some more photos below! -TS
5/18/2017 London - #tbtIt was two days into 2011 when I touched down at London Heathrow. I remember feeling excited, grown up, but not nervous at all. The moment the plane's wheels hit the runway I felt an adventurous sensation and a relief that after all this time, I was finally in London. I had always wanted to visit England. I had an obsession with it before ever even going to the country. The opportunity to study abroad there is still one of my most fondest memories. From a boat cruise on the Thames to high tea at Kensington Palace, the 5 months I spent abroad were nothing short of beautiful and inspiring. The trip began with a home-stay in the countryside, a visit to Windsor Castle, and then back to London for dorm move-in. Immediately after move-in the exploration began. I remember feeling as if anything was possible. Some of my favorite places were Oxford street shopping, Marylebone, Westminster, and Piccadilly Circus. There's really too many to count though. Buckingham Palace was an absolute beauty. The changing of the guard, a memorable experience, one that I would recommend for any tourist of the grand city. One of my most memorable experiences of the entire trip, and a memory for life, was being outside the Palace during the Royal Wedding! I was able to see the gorgeous Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William en route to Westminster Abbey, and the Royal Family outside on the palace balcony as well. The crowd had an excitement about it that was tangible and infectious! Even the week before the wedding had the city glowing. I still think of the city sometimes, and what it looks like at this exact moment. If the wind is blowing in a certain direction, what the people look like laughing in the street, if the sun is peaking through in Regents park among the clouds. I definitely feel connected to one of the most amazing cities on earth. And even though I have not returned yet since my stay abroad, I plan to visit in the near future, to re-explore some old stomping grounds.

5/7/2017 Florida Photo RecapIt was good to be back in my almamater town this past week. Adventuring to nearby Fort Myers beach was a change of scenery that was perfect for a mimosa on the beach by day, and dinner by the water at night! The dolphins even came to play during our morning workout on the beach! With an early morning workout followed by a day in the sun this trip proved to be a peaceful and healthy way to hit the reset-refocus button.
5/3/2017 Travel Recap: Fort Myers beachAs I travel to the airport (a longer ride than expected due to a cancelled flight) I have time to reflect on the recent days spent on Fort Myers Beach, Florida. This girls trip consisted of my beautiful mother, myself, and four nights in Florida's southwest coast. Below are some of the highlights from our vacation in the sunshine state! Fort Myers beach was a delightful little town with friendly people and AMAZING seafood! I mean I couldn't get enough! Our resort, the Diamondhead, was perfect for both relaxing and having fun, with poolside service, live music, and even bingo by the pool.
This textbook beachy town was perfect for shopping in the town square, grabbing a drink at an outside bar, and walking the pier. I would recommend a visit to those looking to relax during the day, but also those looking to hit the town at night. With the salt water, sand, and the sun, it was a win for us! And I must say, I taught my mom the art of the selfie this week! Cheers! -T (Check out more photos on my Instagram @tiffanyjsellers) |
